Okay, in town yetserday, I invested in the 'Official 2010 Tour De France Survival Pack'.

(My 10 year old daughter enquired when the TdF actually started; then pointed out that I was obsessed, preparing a month early. Very cutting.)

Anyway, all good. Glossy mag, maps, pictures, DVD ..... ah, here's the rub. DVD cover says '100 years of the Pyrenees': check, 'Highlights 2009 Tour' ... can't find it, 'Complete 2010 Guide Stage by Stage' .... can't find that either.

So, is it just me being a numpty? I've tried 2 computers and a DVD player and I only get the Pyrenees. Anyone found the other stuff on the DVD?
I should get out more (on the bike)

Double sided DVD perhaps? But your Daughter is quite right, you are obsessed

So it's not the Sean Kelly one? I may have to invest in that on pay day

Me too... I do love the Sean Kelly one, but you can only watch it so many times.

Sean Kelly's dead pan delivery really freaked me out in the last one

Sean Kelly is a great commentator but put him in front of the camera and it's a whole different story.' Rabbit in the headlights' doesn't even come close  . He did a show for RTE (Irish TV) and it was... I dunno, just unreal.
Visit Ireland - all of it! Cycle in Dublin and know fear!!

I picked it up too, main selling point was that the DVD was included and wasn't the same as last years, and yes can only see the Pyrenees part. No highlights, no guide to the stages.

I've posted in a thread someone else started in the Procycling office forum here http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12707314

Hopefully someone from Procycling will see it there and offer a response? Think I'll send them an email too.

FYI you can get that pack, all of it, which is in the shops for £9.99, as a special deal with Cycling Plus this month (cover price £3.99) all for £10.99!

Edit to add that I got it in Smiths today & haven't had chance to view the DVD yet

To be honest it's quite good value (I didn't wait until pay day :S) and the art cards alone I would pay a tenner for, never mind the other stuff, which is just standard fare really.

I have to wait until at least the last week in June. I don't want to peak too soon.

I'm moving house then so am concentrating on other things unfortunately.

As an aside, don't buy the pack for the magazine with the stage details and team profiles. The text is exactly the same as what comes with the new issue of procycling that's out tomorrow, it's just the maps and profiles that are more detailed.
