How easy is it to re grease these myself?

I have mavic kyrisum equippes. I have a basic toolbox with some cone spanners etc.. that the missus got me for my birthday.

So is it do-able as a novice to sort them out?

they have cartridge bearings, not cup and cone, so the method/tools are different

normally cartridge bearings are sealed, so there's no user maintenance, once they're worn they are replaced (you can buy kits with new bearings)

you should look at the mavic technical manual to see what is involved...

...you need to login, use these details...

    user... mavic-com
    password... dealer

...in general you can change cartridge bearings without specialised tools, although having the right things makes it easier, but you need to reasonably adept/confident at mechanical things

  • cheers fella I'll leave them alone then

Get yerself some Shimano wheels then you can tinker with them to yer heart's content. Grease, cone spanners, ball bearings rolling out of sight....
