new rider.question about GT Aggressor XC2 frame

hello guys , I am new to MTB and just bought a GT Aggressor XC2 09 from my friend. the bike is on top condiction but the problem is it's come with a 20" frame which is too big for me.
I am looking for swap a smaller frame with someone. the question is if I can't swap to a 18"GT Aggressor XC2 frame then what frame shoul I looking for swap? (17-18")I mean same level with XC2 frame. dont want do any upgrade as I am really new to MTB.
XC2 come with 120 mm travel fork.
any ideas guys?

Hard to answer as different frames have differnt geometry.
Sorry. You need to look at geometries and compare.0 -

If you got it for a good price then just sell it and get a better& more suitable bike with the money
