Dropped chain

Went out for a quick spin today and dropped the chain when changing down on the front cog. It's the second time it's happened in two rides - is it adjustment, or is it the fact I'm trying to change up on the rear cog at the same time? If it's changing on both mechs at the same time can anyone suggest how make a smooth transition between the two cogs?

Thanks in advance

Just a quick adjustment, take a look at your stop screws

Best not to change gear on both front and back at the same time. Had some chain snare ups doing this myself...

But yes its a quick and easy adjustment, and there are loads of useful videos on how to do it. Even I managed to adjust my gears!

almost certainly a minor tweek to the stop screws will solve it.
I had exactly the same issue, half a turn on the upper stop screw...........all sorted !
    I ride therefore I am

btw, I adjusted the "dog fang" and haven't had a problem since.
