Fixed lockring tool

Just curious if the old style bb lockring tool can fit a fixed wheel lockring?

My fixed lockring tool works on a BB lockring, so yeah, I suppose it would work the other way around. They seem to be roughly the same size, a BB lockring is a bit bigger perhaps. I'm not near my bike so I can't check though.
