My new Trek Fuel EX8 got it today and have changed the wheels and tyres to Mavic crosstrail and nobby nic tyres.Before and after pics.

Thanks guys, i will get the hang of posting up pics hopefully :oops:
Had the wheels on my rockhopper and think they looked more bling than the standard wheels, also read on here some where that the stock tyres were not great in the wet.
Living in scotland it gets wet every other day so got the nobby nics for some more grip.

Good choice on the tyre replacement, I swapped the XDX's on mine for Fire XC's for the winter gloop but recently went with Nic's myself.

changed my xdx's for nobby nics also .... put them back the other day for a spin because the trails are dry and dusty at the mo, but wont be usingthem if any rain about.
really like the ex8 great bike that keeps getting better everytime i ride it... or is it im getting better...

I know what you mean Andy, it is a sweet bike to ride and as they say in the report in What Mountain Bike it does flatter any skills you have. :P
