What about the bloke on the old C+ forum who posted a picture of his Thorn with about two foot of spacers under the stem, then got seriously upset when people started taking the pi$$. It ran for about 20 pages before he went back and deleted all his own posts and stormed off.

I can't believe nobody has nominated Spen666  our own number one pedalling pedant. (or is there perhaps a law against it?)

FFs, he will have you in court for slander. Apparently. (top legal get out, the use of "apparently", apparently)

The now too infrequent visitor JIBI (George), for starting the "Girls in Lycra Shorts" thread. It's got to be the longest running thread on here.

has to be a strong contender, indeed,

but also I would like to nominate Popette and Lost in Thought, whose avatars seem to have made quite a lot of the men on here behave rather foolishly.

Oh and also in the women's race, the lass who started the thread about how to stop some bloke in her club run lingering on her wheel all day and perving at her backside!

Might be showing my Forum age but for me it has to be Gonzo.

Yes, I think it was Gonzo that started the original jersey relay. I got my photo in C+ doing a leg of that ride

I'd also nominate BikingBernie for his long, long posts *yawn* aiming to 'get the truth out' about Armstrong.

    The guy seems obsessed.

Also there is closure to the epic BE WARNED !!!! Thread - can be found here:

Keith occasionally drops in, leaves a scattering of exclamation marks and departs.

What about the long-running "are they / aren't they" of Patrick Stevens and Arch?

    And the Scottoiler threads?

Steelem and SpeedKing were good value, and I always enjoy Freehub's ramblings.

NickLouse and Supersonic (INPO) for their helpful, almost instant advice.

What happened to Vermooten(sp)? he had the best avatar ever... I miss it!

I never knew Matt frequented the road section lol, I must look up some of his old posts.

I shall enter the words 'BMW' and 'torque' into the search engine...
