    he is definitely one of the best keyboard players of all time, seeing that picture of "Black and White" makes me want to dig it out of my vinyl collection for the first time in 30 years to see if it still sounds as good now as it did when it came out back in 78.

    I wouldn't go that far...

    I'm a big Stranglers fan and Greenfield's style and sound was certainly distinctive, but it always seemed to be based largely on fairly basic arpeggios and scales...

    Yeah I'm a big Stranglers fan also. Caught them at Cambridge in March. Superb as always.
