Wheel Truing

I've had my wheels true'd twice in just over 2 years.

They're ready to go into the LBS for another true as they're looking very buckled now + a snapped spoke!

Just out of interest can anyone tell me if they are true'd often does it weaken the wheel over time?

I don't see how it can but a mate of mine thinks otherwise.

Cheers, J.
I love the sound my tyres make on dusty single track!

Once a year sounds about right, it shouldnt weaken the wheel unless you true it and don't tension it all correctly, but if the LBS are doing it you dont need to worry about that
