I've just become the proud owner of 3/4 of a Gary Fisher Rig. I'm looking at a shop from CRC and when I look for 29' tyres and tubes 28 seems to crop up... a lot. Should I be buying the 28 or am I going to be massively disappointed when new and shiny bits turn up that don't fit?

Help pls
What you're talking about is 'practice'... which should be banned as a performance enhancer!

Nope, 29er is the American marketing term for 700C or 28" Being American it is against the law to use any global standard measurement system such as Wales or football pitches :)
