Air shock question

It's been bugging me all day, but when you put air in one leg of the fork, how does it then end up in the other one? Same goes for the lockout setting and rebound.

It doesn't - most forks have seperate legs for different things.0

A lot of forks are mechanically asymmetric, one side might do the spring bit, while the other does the dampening.
if you go to the SRAM site and look for Solo air in the maintenance section you will find a pdf with a diagram. I just googled it, but couldn't find a suitable pic.0 -

Ok thanks. Suntour's exploded diagram isn't as clear as SRAM's one.
Just another quick question: Worth trusting Halfords to service a Suntour Epicon LOD 15? I'm not confident doing it myself and Halfords are the only place I've found so far that would do it.0 -
