camping north wales

Does anyone have any good advice for campsites in north wales , 3 day trip so any location near the usuall suspect places will be considerd .

    There are a couple on the main road that runs through Coed-Y-Brenin...

    Deffinately quite a large caravan/camping ground at Llanelltyd..... but im sure there is one about 500 meters south of the turning for the CYB carpark....

    Multimap and then "os Map" option is good for spotting larger campsites, but the smaller tent only ones sometimes dont make it onto OS maps... If ur stuck phone the CYB center... they are very helpful!

    We camped here last year http://www.barcdy.co.uk/ a very nice site.
    the two fields as you enter the drive are flat
    Local for snowdon which hasn't been crossed off my list yet :)

    Cae gwyn farm in the end , 10/10 . Perfect for mtb heads
