Pierre wants to do more controls. Pat no like Pierre.

Next stage will be Pierre claiming they've got magic powers and the UCI have drawn a chalk circle around certain hotels to keep them out.

When will this nonsense end?

The rules don't allow the AFLD in. The UCI only has to remind people of the rules.

Only with the UCI, the concept of rules is a selective thing, they can't seem to apply them evenly, so thanks to the series of vacuums created by McQuaid, in comes Bordry.

Possibly with this Landis Sh|t storm, WADA officials might try and get a sneaky foot in the door and sack the lot of them off..

    A good question.
This was bound to happen, given the Landis allegations.
So, I guess the answer would be when the UCI look credible, in tackling doping without favour..........
    ........whenever that might be.

The UCI fired back at the AFLD's accusations, stating that they did not intend to work with the French agency at the 2010 Tour de France. "We're not going to work with somebody who we have lost complete confidence in. Somebody, who, from our point of view is out to damage cycling and indeed to damage the Tour de France by his actions," UCI president Pat McQuaid said.

In other words McQuaid is intent on keeping out anybody who might 'damage cycling' by uncovering doping, especially doping by certain riders that the UCI is determined to protect 'for the good of cycling'...

The AFLD are as bad as the UCI. Pierre has an enormous gob and he really lucked out a few years ago. Who remembers when the stars of the 08 Tour should be quaking. And then "oh, ummm, no, didn't actually expect any positives, what gave you that idea"

This is why we need a single non-sport aligned testing agency.

What we need are univeristy labs that truly care only about the science. AFLD constantly leaks A sample results, is forever talking to the press and clearly has a business agenda. The UCI also has a business agenda. Which is why they need a third party that is unbiased and has no monetary benefit from getting press.

As a former boss of mine used to say, show me five instances of this claim and I'll accept it, otherwise it's false.
