Right, posted this in "workshop" without any replies....

I have noticed a cut in my tyres, what can i use to fill/repair it? Some sort of glue? Not all the way through, looks like been nicked with a bit of glass.

Cheers

Yep, most people use Superglue I think, I've also used others. Not sure how much it helps but it doesn't do any harm.

I use something designed for wetsuit repair - Aquasure. I believe there is a similar product for camping gear called Stormsure.
It is a clear liquid which solidifies in contact with air but doesn't shrink like a glue.

The Aquasure advice sounds like a good one. The flexibility required of a tyre may not be achievable with superglue.

Personally, I'd probably replace, as I tend to be a bit cautious about my tyres.

Actually, maybe not. I've done about 700km since I noticed a flint embedded in my M+.

Ordered some Stormsure, as it will be useful for my camping too. Is a nick, but not really worrying for now. Am enjoying my contri Gator Skins.
