Hi there,
Just got a Specialized Hardrock Sport 2010 and am now looking for routes in the Chichester/West Sussex area? Mainly offroad routes, looking for a bit of a challenge too!
Or any sites with uploaded routes.
Thanks!!!!

Try Stoughton Down/Kingly Vale. You can start there can go up to the Downs loads of stuff there.0

Caveat: I don't ride the MTB much these days (preferring road instead).
If you're in Chichester itself, the Centurion Way (route 88 on this map ) is a good way to get North into the Downs that's (mostly) offroad. Being an old railway line it's the opposite of challenging and probably full of family groups out for a pootle at this time of year, but it gives you Easy access to nice climbs up the Trundle to the East and Bow Hill to the West. Further North the South Downs Way will easily get you as far West or East as you want to go and there will be plenty of fun descents down the scarp slopes of the Downs.
Hope that helps. The above is a post in a forum on the Intertubes, and should be taken with the appropriate amount of seriousness.0
