Can anyone recommend a ride near Tywyn, Wales

I'm going on an extended family holiday near Tywyn LL36 9LS

Hopefully i can get away for a few hours, can anyone suggest a route starting from here maybe 30 to 50 miles with some nice hills

    Llanfairfechan. Abergwyngregin, about hour away. Hilly, hard, steep off road.

    Nice easy tarmac cycle track ride from Llandudno to Rhyl and back.

    Loggerheads Country Park area to the West.

    Berwyns have some nice rides as well.

    OOPPPS! Sorry, wrong area given, DOH!

    OK, the best areas are the "Mach Trails", various routes, quite isolated/hard.

    Also, Coed Y Brenin of course. Various levels of difficulty to try out, cafe, shop etc.

    Mark and Rita Blundon run a caravan site near Tywyn and they run a Triathlon and Cycling club. Contact the WCU to ask for their contact details.

    Rob their son was a WCU U23 rider. I used to coach him etc.
