A couple of friends and I rode the Nirvana Killer Loop yesterday - or should I say tried to! The myriad of brilliant looking trails there are both a blessing and a frustration - never knowing which bit of great look trail to take! Anyone got any GPX files that may help or even better fancy introducing us to some of the great trails in the area. Did “Barry knows best”, the only one we got to know the name of and it was great!

It can be a problem- I've been round loops there goodness knows how many times, and there are still places where I don't know how it fits together. If I get off one of my 'beaten tracks' I have no idea where I'm going!

Plan for the summer is is to spend a couple of days there just riding round all the bits I don't know, until I do!
Rock Lobster 853, Trek 1200 and a very old, tired and loved Apollo Javelin.

Sounds like a great plan! Fantastic ridding to be had there. With all this talk of trail centres in Wales I wonder if people really realise what can be found just outside Guilford! I only live an hour away in the Chilterns and have been ridding 20 years (Yes I do know this makes me REALLY old!) and never new this was there!

Err, if you fancy riding most weekends or some weekdays around check London Calling thread. Explored Winterfold,Pitch,Holmbury,Leith and Redlands hills and majority of well known and secret trails.
    What could have been (Video)

I'll choose not put too much stake into someone's opinion who is admittingly terrible though

That's the beauty of the Surrey Hills - so many trails that can be linked up in so many ways - it's a totally different experience from waymarked trails found at MTB centres but can appreciate it may be a bit daunting if you're new to the area!

I've been riding up there for over 10 years and still find new tracks that put a smile on my face. Well worth spending some time up there exploring.

I might record a GPX of Holmbury Hill Highlights next time I'm out if I remember - a shortish but quite punishing loop in places taking in the Yogurt Pots, Telegraph Row and Barry Knows Best that is one of my favs for an after work quick ride.
