alex TSF rims

i've got some alex tsf rims and the front wheel has buckled after i hit a rock should i get some new rims or get the rim straightened. a rider on the trail said that the alex rims arent very good any suggestions?

    it depends on how bad the damage is.

    hmm thought so. well they are fairly bad, the thing is im off to france on them. will be riding some 'heavy' cross country / all mountain riding on them in august. and after just hitting a rock on the ground, if i go to france it would probs buckle again. so i don't really want to spend the money on getting it made true, i was thinking would it last, or is it worth spending the money on a new rim?
