Hello

I have a carbon frame and have just noticed that one of the plastic cable holders is loose. its not a big problem, just an annoying rattle and will pop out pretty soon i imagine.

read somewhere that this is pretty common and simple solution is to secure it by putting a drop of superglue on it.

just wondering if this would be ok? i mean would it cause any damage to the frame? i cant see for the life of me how it could, but dont wanna do anything to damage my pride and joy!

thanks for your help

:D

  • I can't imagine that superglues would damage carbon fibre in any way, but you could always use an epoxy resin like Araldite, that's what CF is bonded with.
