He did some good films Apocalypse Now and Easy Rider. Surprised he made it to 74 given he lived through the hedonistic '60s and angst ridden '70s. He probably tasted everything one shouldn't  .
Life is like a roll of toilet paper; long and useful, but always ends at the wrong moment. Anon.
Think how stupid the average person is.......
half of them are even more stupid than you first thought.

He was in some great movies and some not so great ones, but he was a class act.

Like hunter Thompson, a genuine maverick, true to himself and himself only. Not always great, always worth watching though. He'll be missed.
Litespeed Tuscany, Hope/Open Pro, Ultegra, pulling an Extrawheel trailer, often as not.

    FCR 4 (I think?)

such a shame. Always came across as genuine. He was a good director too, made a great anti vietnam movie called Tracks.

My bro has got Hoppers voice on his sat nav, its funny as, at one point he actually says " Hey man dont trust me to tell you were you're going...yu're the one driving...I'm just sitting here stoned".

    Sad day.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.

Fcuking ggod actor, not many did menacing roles like he could, Blue Velvet, for example.
    And he was cool.
