Inner chainring rattle.

I've just fitted a new FSA Gossamer Pro compact mega-exo chainset. It is running nicely, smoothly etc... but on the inner ring there is a annoying 'rattle' when I ride. The rattle is almost like if you were to be riding in the 34*11 gear and the chain clips the outer chainring, but is like it throughout the block. On the outer big ring, there are no problems.

All my gearing is Campagnolo Veloce, with the exception of a Shimano 105 triple front mech, which I had left over from an old bike...it shifts well on the compact, and I can't see it rubbing the chain causing the 'rattle'...could this be an issue?
