I own a Zesty right now....but have been perving over a hardtail as a second bike. Fancy a bit of racing maybe and we've just got our Cycle to Work Scheme in...although capped at £1k.
Am considering a Cube Ltd - but wonder if am being greedy just coz it's on offer....soo.... Talk me into it....

You must always obey the golden rule of MTB ownership!
N+1=B
Where N = The number of bikes you currently own and B is the number of bikes you really need.0 -
I like that equation.
Good job am building a new garage! Not for the car, mind.
Any thoughts on the Cubes? Anyone ridden them or raced them? Am loving the paintjobs and think they come up reasonably for the money. And not seen any frame snapping posts as yet.0 -
Might be able to get better value for your money from other places, maybe even building one up yourself.0

I built quite a few Cubes. They were always a pleasure and all the mechanics wanted to be the ones to build em.
build quality is excellent, quite rare which is nice (not just another xtc/stumpy/trek)
paint jobs are amazing, they look anodised but arent its a coloured laquer the acid green is stunning.
good quality parts
only issue i think is over long stem / narrow bar combo which is pretty common on euro bikes, but if your gonna race its a good thing

Got the ltd race about 5 weeks. Took a bit of getting used to after riding full sus for over 5 years but I got to say that its a fantastic piece of kit. The full sus has now gone via ebay. I have commited a sin though and changed the wheels to mavic729's on pro 2's. Only because I'm a big lad and didn't feel they were up to my riding plus my weight. Good solid frame with great components esp for the price. Go buy one!
