Groupsets Question

Can you mix and match the different levels within one manufacturers groupset ?

Eg. Campag Record rear derailleur, Campag Chorus front derailleur, Campag Super Record chainset, Campag Athena gear shifters etc.

The reason I am asking is so I am able to upgrade my groupset a little at a time.

Yes - generally, keep to the same make / number of gears and you'll have little problem. Things like chainsets and brakes are readily compatible between different brands - it's mainly in terms of the shifters and gear mechs where you're best to keep to a single brand
