Good Maps for plotting route

Hi,

I want to plan a route to Paris via newhaven/dieppe and I am not sure which maps to buy. Any advice?

    thanks for the response. Sorry I meant a hard copy of a
    map not a digital map..

    Try the 'Tours and Expeditions' forum (within road). They have a better idea of longer distance rides.

    There are various web-based planning tools, such as www.bikehike.co.uk and www.ridewithgps.com where you can plan and print, and transfer to a proper map if required?
