Instead of the Giro, Eurosport 2 appear to have footage of motorbike crashes. Oh good.

    Is it s new one?

I have seen most of them on my V+ box when I have recorded cycling!

Looks like the break is a small one - only 2 people with a lead of 2.45. If a few teams want to chase then it looks odds on a sprint finish.

Henderson or Sutton must fancy it today - lots of Sky on the front.

Today's stage is excellent practice for watching Le Tour. :P

Are Columbia gonna mess this up again? Been riding on the front for 70 k, now they're nowhere.

Columbia won't mess it up, but Greipel probably will (especially with no Goss)

    EDIT: Sod's law, eh?

A dominant sprint. Pity this is just a sh*t race. Sky gave him an excellent lead out.

did i see wiggins loafing at the back with 4kms to go going into tunnel, then see him pop up at the front with 1km to go?

Oh darn, why don't I just conform with PTP picks, commentators getting my hopes up when they said Sabantini was third! ;(

Another 4 years and he might have the same number of Giro stages as Cav :D

By winning at the fifth time of asking once all the stage winning sprinters have gone home, he's certainly shown who's boss, that's for sure.

Hey, at least he didn't get eliminated when the race went over a motorway bridge

He was on the front with Columbia for quite a while.

Seeing as he was under major pressure to salvage something from the race, it's a good win. I was half expecting him to crumble.

Will he be getting another shot at the Vuelta? Unlike the last two years, after missing out on the Giro, I'm wondering what preparation Cav will be doing for the World Championships.
