Picked this up on Tuesday evening and took it out for maiden ride last night.

Handles like a dream!

I was pretty much set on getting an Epic, but after trying one of these out at the recent demo event at Wasing I fell in love with it. Must also mention that the guys working on the Giant stand were great, really helped me out adjusting the suspension etc.

Everything is stock, everything seems to work well. Will therefore wait a while before I start changing anything.
XC: Giant Anthem X
Fun: Yeti SB66
Road: Litespeed C1, Cannondale Supersix Evo, Cervelo R5
Trainer: Bianchi via Nirone
Hack: GT hardtail with Schwalbe City Jets

Lovely bike! I've had my X2 or about a month now. No upgrades yet - none required really - although I have changed the 120mm stem to a 90mm (still a Giant Connect) and it's much better for me.

Like you say, it rides like a dream and going uphill is actually very enjoyable indeed.
    Winter: Moda Nocturne
    Road: Cervelo R3
    'Cross: Ridley X-Night
    Commuter: Genesis Day One
  • I have just bought an X2 as well! Just got back from a few days in Glentress, handled everything no problem, including the whole of the black route. As mentioned above what a bike for climbing! And so fast! :D
