Newbie Full suss £1000 - £1500 Help Please

Hi guys and gals
Been out of touch for a while got my cycle scheme voucher (£1000) was going to get a cube ltd race, after a bit more thought have thought of a full suss any ideas the lbs sells
Cube, Felt, marin, land rover(bit random?) and scott
I know to get a good full suss i am going to need to add some cash, my felling is buying something better now will save money in the future
I am live in kingsclere hants so the is a good mix of roads,tracks and hills
Help would be great
