New bearing races for XT 770 BB?

Hi,
my BB bearings are on their way out on the cups that came with my XT 770 chainset.

I've not had the BB out yet to check, but can you pop out and replace the cartridge bearings, or is this likely to require a new BB ?

...if replacable, any suggestions for the bearings required?

I've used www.simplybearings.co.uk before for hub bearings and thought they were pretty good.

Betd do a bearing swap service. you can also buy the kit to press the bearings out and the new ones back in or just get new cups and fit them. (about £25)

Yeah, it's a standard bearing... Um, 68052RS if memory serves. It's not too difficult to get them out if you know what you're doing, a wee bit fiddlier than most wheel bearings but not hard.
