Tour of Belgium - SPOILER

Apparently he was dropped and then had hallucinations on the bike, but my Dutch isn't very good so take this account with a pinch of salt.0

Didn't Kloden do this in the ToB a couple of years ago? Pocket the appearance fee, ride for an hour then climb off at the first opportunity.0

It says he skipped planned altitude training in the Sierra Nevada because of bronchitis, and decided to do this little tour instead.
Sporza says it's something with his lungs, so probably bronchitis not juts an issue at altitude0 -
According to the Rabobank team website though his bronchitis was over, but he simply got dropped in a hectic rainy/windy fight-for positions bit at the start of the stage .....0

What a great photo
Contador is the Greatest0 -
He's got full length leg warmers on, surely that means he loses all style marks?0

It is worth taking a look at the short highlights of this stage on the Sporza site to see a rider make a great save:

Casper wins stage 3, on his birthday.
1. Casper
2. Napolitano
3. Steegmans
Just before the final km about 15 riders crashed (including 4/5 lotto riders). There was no real organization and Steegmans started sprinting too early.
Gilbert still leads overall.0 -
Second stage win for Skil-Shimano!
Cornu wins the TT in front of Moerenhout and Devolder. This is also the current podium of the GC, with Cornu leading them by 4 seconds. Bad luck for Gilbert and Vaitkus, it started raining in the end.
Tomorrow is the queen stage in the Ardennes, Cornu will have a difficult time to hold on to the jersey. He has only a 23 second advantage over Gilbert. Other candidates for the GC are Devenyns (@ 16"), Devolder (@ 4") and three Rabo riders, Moerenhout, Tankink and Nuyens, are within 14".0
