Have gt a second hand XT rear mech that has obviously been taken apart at some time, the ballraced jockey wheel is at the top, the ceramic bearing at the bottom, but the lower one 'seems' to allow more side to side movement at the top (or is it in my head?), the shimano tech docs don't show definatively which is where, but seem to show the ceramic bearinged wheel at the top, just to be sure, which should go where please?

the G pulley is the top one (closest to the cassette).

    G ?

Yes SS I know, but the weather seals on the ceramic one make hard to judge as neither seem to have much float!

Argh, great, thanks Nick, that looks like the one I do have at the top, but I'll double check!
