I bought some last night to replace the Hayes strokers I currently have on the cube. Really not taken with the strokers at all, no modulation and no real power, it just feels powerfull because it all comes at once...as soon as you touch the lever!
Anyway, really looking forward to get the lixers, hopfully by Friday as Im off to Degla for the day

Avid Elixir...if they are good enough for steve peat....they are good enough for me!
yip...got a set on the crush as standard equipment. really nice feel, loads of power...Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

Got the Avid Elixir CRs here. Fantastic brake, when they work. Had a few reliability problems.0

My trails are the complete opposite, great of modulation and loads of power. I can't ever see me needed anything more....0 -
Well impressed by my XXs, so much more power than Juicys, with the prices Merlin are doing some of the Elixirs it'd be rude not to.0

I've got CR's too. Outstanding brakes, much better then the Nines on my other bike.0
