Hi. Can anyone with a decent bit of knowledge on road bikes help me make a decision please? I'm looking at getting a road bike and will either go for the Trek 1.1 2010 model or the Giant Defy 3.5 2010 model. Anyone have any idea whic would be best? I know they're pretty similar but just wanted to get some advice.
Cheers.

The best advice I can give is to try them both, all things being equal then see which one gives you that gut instinct of being the one.
Make sure you get the fit correct though whichever takes your fancy, that's far more important than anything else.

+1 at any given price point there is rarely a 'clear' winner, mostly comes down to personal preference. ie, what fits best 1st, if they both fit well then which one do you like the look of best 8)winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

Can't comment on Trek, but got a Defy 4 last summer and it has been brilliant. Did the Cheshire Cat on it. Comfy and nice to ride. Recommend it to anyone!Cannondale Synapse Ultegra 2010
