Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right area to post this:
Over the past few months a group in Donegal have been working on trying to
develop a dedicated mountainbike (MTB) trail centre in Donegal. Donegal has
the ideal topography for what could be the best trail centre in Ireland.
Plans are progressing well with all bodies keen to get involved. The bodies
involved have recognised the vast potential within the area for generation
of tourism revenue through a centre like this, particularly with the ever
increasing success of other trails in Ireland.
The project is still in its early stages but what we need at this stage is your help in registering your interest. What is needed is for you all to email the contact email (joe.mchugh@oireachtas.ie) describing your interest in the project and how
it's a great idea etc etc (even with one line) and even better still if you are from the UK or european Mainland that you would be willing to travel to ride this trail when it is completed. It is needed for further
evidence gathering and to show that this would boost tourism in the area.
The address is:
joe.mchugh@oireachtas.ie
Please take a look at the following

Thanks again all.

This gets my support, its about time too! Donegal is so well set up topographically for cross country and downhill. I've been mtn biking here for about a year and half and use the same tracks most of the time. Glencolmcille to Port and those little loops around that area. Also the Glenveagh/Gartan loop.
Loads of trails in the North and a good scene there. I'm pretty sure folk would travel to Donegal for mtn biking. People travel here for quality surf so if there are trails here too....0
