hi
had thought I had made a decision on th Boardman comp when wiggle threw these 2 into the frame:

and

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Batta ... 360048603/

which is campagnolo equipped which would have been an aspiration when I was younger (in the sixties).

Any thoughts on the different components/bikes would be welcome.

The Battaglin looks like really good value with that 20% off, I think I would buy that one over the Corratec or the Boardman for that matter.

It's an italian bike with campag in it! Veloce is a decent groupset according to lots of people as well.
All the components, seatpost, bars and wheels are branded and decent at that price range too.

Don't forget to save a fiver by subscribing to the newsletter or changing details .... ah, and use Quidco to get cashback!

Only weak point are the tyres but they are still ok, just nothing fancy!

    Buy it! :)

Might be worth checking out the Spesh Allez Elite. Seems to be a similar geo to the bikes you mention (by the look of them) and it has a similar spec (Tiagra) although, personally, I would want 105 as a min but it always comes down to budget. The Allez gets a load of good reviews. I liked the bike but the geo was a bit 'harsh' for me. I thoroughly recommend a trial in any case.

EDIT: Not sure I answered your OP btw :)

agree the campag bike looks better and the brakes are veloce too where as the other one has tektros. I would also prefer the FSA chainset over the shimano at that price point.

When i was a kid campag was the holy grail and one day i'll get round to it but am currently riding ultegra
