If I'm a 12t single speed on the back, what do I need to run on the front?
thanks

what sort of bike...
24 for all over riding, but it is a bit spinny, 26 is you don't really go up hills.

there is a good guide in the FAQs.

one problem you may have with a 12T will depend on the cranks you plan to use.
BMX type then no probs.

The other problem with a 12t on the back is that you will only have 4 or 5 teeth actually engaged in the chain. Under serious power, you might easily get chain skip, and a lot of quick wear.
Why not just go for 16:32 or even bigger?
