After a number of years (sat in a box) I have finally got round to putting the bits in my garage together.
Started with the frame. Unfortunately the frame had a crack in the steerer tube that required aluminum welding. Stripped back the powder coating round the tube to have have the welding done and then had the whole frame vapour blasted to leave a textured aluminum finish.
Stuck all the old bits back on. Had to get a few new bits and voila the finished product.
Yes, I know its not shinny new kit but its kept me amused for a few weeks putting it together and I dont think its turned out too bad.
Still needs the front forks refurbed or replaced but its 90% done and rides well...will keep me entertained during the summer.
