I have to say Matt Smith is really growing on me. Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap bow tie?

    Cheap - Tesco

Quality - Find a proper gentleman's outfitters. They should have a nice range.

Oh and if you're thinking about wearing it to a formal occasion, learn how to tie a proper one as opposed to having one on a little hook. It's quite a popular unwritten rule in some organisations that if someone pulls your bowtie and it doesn't untie (something a self tied one would do) then you have to buy the most expensive bottle in the house!

Wear the clip on then later in the evening substitute it for an undone 'proper' one :)

Hmmm... I find he lacks the charm of the Tennant. That line about 'no, they are scared of me' seems a bit overused too. He's not bad though, then again I remember McCoy!

Seems much the same to me - same annoying over-confidence in the face of enemies that would basically just zap him before he'd finished opening his mouth! It's been downhill since Tom Baker

    Dr What????

Seriously, I have never really watched it, but having seen a couple of David Tennant episodes i got so bored of it I'll never watch it again. It seems like simply cashing in on a name from the past on behalf of the BBC

You'll probably find that you have to have actually watched the programme to be able to form an opinion, you philistine.

It pains me to say this, but this series isn't exactly blowing my skirt up.

Matt Smith is brilliant as the Doctor and oh so different from DT. The stories are such that they really appeal to older Doctor Who fans like me, bit darker. As for Karen Gillan........well, the wife has stopped me looking at her!!

Is your sonic screwdriver getting overloaded?

I'm not keen on the new guy, he's okay but thought Tennant was brilliant. He's got a few series to go before he's replaced by Sandy Toksvig, the first female (just) Doctor!

A couple of times watching Matt Smith I've found that I sometimes miss what he says - I wonder if he sometimes is quickly reciting a learned script rather than really acting out the words.

Mind you, it could be that I'm simply going deaf...

Yeah it'll all good unless you live in Cardiff....

'The Boy' (he's 4) loves it, but it's not so great when he sees locations of some of the scary bits and flips out....
