newbie needs routes basildon or surrounding areas.

hi,
just started biking and was wondering if anyone could give me some routes for this newbie to take my mountain bike for some fun around the basildon or surrounding areas.

    We do a 3 hour plus ride around Thorndon Saturday mornings if you want to join us, it's the best way of learning the routes.

    We also do some ad-hoc evening rides as well.
    Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
