....having already completed 46 of my 60 miles I was overtaken by another cyclist. He caught me on a small hill and I was tiring so slowing down.

It was a beautiful morning, very little traffic, glorious Sussex countryside.

He passed without a word, no acknowledgement, nothing. I was amazed. Despite his huuuuuuge aero helmet and tri bar equipped bike he wasn't actually going that quickly...so why not wave, say hello or if he was really puffed out from chasing me ( :P) ...at least grunt.

Some people....... :?

I must admit I did scream past a fellow roadie a few days ago, and I felt guilty for doing so I just couldn't be arsed with pleasantaries. It's usually never personal, they're sometimes so caught up in their own little world that they wouldn't notice if you were naked, with the saddle shoved your butt, singing the entire catagory of songs by the Backstreet Boys, whilst strumming on your banjo.

Other times they're just ignorant tossers :P Oh wait, you mentioned Sussex, that's down south... no one talks to each other down there
