cracked chainstay :(

Went out for a little blast this morning on my trek ex9 got a puncture turned the bike upside down to take the wheel and noticed a small crack was appearing just near the none drive side main pivot point on the chainstay gutted :cry:

    Yea called in to see my mate who works for a local trek dealer he took some photos and rang the shop and they were going to email trek straight away to get another chainstay ordered so hopefully it wont be out of action for to long :)

    Happened to me on Raleigh RSP Ti frame. Weld just went through, horizontally, right through the driveside chainstay.

    Got a replacement, but idiots at LBS dented downtube overtightening the front mech...

    I would be more concerned as to why he put it on the downtube :P :lol:
