Hi all

Just 3 days old.
The last picture is a bit more like the real blue colour that it is in the flesh although still nothing like how it looked in the sun this weekend !

7.2kg including pedals (15.85lbs sounds better actually) which should help on the Dragon Ride.

Isaac Sonic Ltd frame and forks size 54cm (2006/7 model)
Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed groupset
12-27 cassette
39-53 chainset 172.5 cranks
Campanolo Neutron 2010 wheels
Michelin Pro 3Race tyres
3TTT Forgie Stem
3TTT Biomorph bars (cut)
Deda bar tape
Selle Italia SLR Saddle
Isaac seatpost
Time RXS carbon pedals
Suunto Road bike sensor (front skewer)
Suunto Cadence pod

The dark blue tape didn't work - black on it's way soon.
Rest of the steerer will be cut down in a few weeks when I'm sure the positions right.

I'd like to say it flew up the Peak District hills this weekend but with me on board and the heat, well it didn't ! I got up them but damn it was hot.

    hi Galatzo
not sure if you know this, but before you cut your steerer google "" isaac fork recall" and this should give you some information about stem length and steerer length etc.
    cheers

    Thanks Kai
Yeah I'm aware of the recall and the large replacement expander that was issued.
They also advise having a spacer above the stem too but it's just not neat enough.
However I probably will have at least 10mm above and below otherwise resale will be a bit limited although the large headtube makes up for having plenty of uncut steerer.

    Thanks again
