having a little fettle with the front end. going for a thomson X2 stem and new wing style bars as i spend a lot of time on the tops.
got the options down to either the 3T Ergonova Pro or the Cinelli Vai Palm. going to be ordering online as the shops round my way are rubbish so will not have a chance to see them in the flesh.
I have a couple of questions.
do either of the bars mean the hoods are going to be out further than average. ie will i need a shorter stem than i have now.
and anyone with them what are the pros and cons of either of the bars.
also anyone have any pictures of them fitted to their bikes as its hard to get a feel for the shape looking at the bars alone.
cheers

I have the cinelli's and I really like them. The flat tops are super comfy and the long section on the drops are excellent if you like the older style. But I wouldn't recommend these if you have small hands because to get the hoods in a comfortable position for your hands on top, it makes it slightly harder to reach the levers from the drops.
Will try and get some pictures for you.
Here are some I found from Google
