I haven't been out on the bike for the last two weeks' due to having to go overseas on business (saw a couple of SS BSO's while in Saudi Arabia - pedalling in temps of 44C :shock: Mind you, it is flat!).
Anyway, my last ride before going really flowed well, and everything seemed to come together...finally. This morning was my first ride since that day, and I was apprehensive as to whether I would ride as well. My first descent was a little tentative, but I soon focussed, employed the basics and picked up where I left off.
I've actually got a chest/throat infection at the moment, which slowed me a little on the ascents, but I had to get on the bike after a two-week break (I'll soon find out if it was a bright idea...or not! :roll: ).
It's glorious out there, people. Enjoy the dust!
