    I've got 71 miles to do in the sun.

    9 days off the bike hope I'm gonna be faster and not slower.

    Just got back yesterday, from riding coast to coast 206 miles in 3 days.Then rode another 160 ish home.372 mile on the clock.Brown as dark finish wood stain.Gawd it was hot on Saturday. 8) :? :roll:

    Yeah, I thought something similar yesterday too.

    Got to Beddgelert, sunny hot, but up Nantgwynant it was cloudy, headwind, really cool.

    Then, down Llanberis Pass it changed to overcast and a humid headwind.

    Llanberis to home, hot sun, breezy, bloody scorching!

    I give up...

    well, I'm back... Showered, fed, refreshed and...
    I have colour in my arms and legs :D
    Put suncream on head (shaved), to avoid having 21 red vent shaped marks on my scalp!
    What a fantastic day, I've never seen so many cyclists out and about. :wink:

    It is fantastic weather for cycling here.
    However may I recommend not doing 250 metres of climbing in 1.4km (White Horse climb for those familiar with it....) :)

    After Saturday's rather warm solo ride I went and bought some sunscreen. I hope this weather lasts long enough to make the expense worth it. :roll:
    Can you believe the price of that stuff?? The want people to cover up and use sunscreens to reduce the chances of skin cancer, but £10.00+ starting price is daft. And that was just Boots own brand. I did manage to find one with a insect repellant combined though.
