life of a tyre

hi, i have done 200miles on my speed kings and they are already wearing away and losing traction. I ride about 50/50 on road and off. Is this normal for this tyre or am i doing something wrong?

    Something wrong I'd say. I'd expect 10 times that at least.

    What pressure are you running them at?

    a firm pressure. couldnt tell you exact, i only have a simple pump.

    They do have plenty of life left in them, and they grip well, but noticeably less. THey're just not very consistant i would say.
