Hi... I'm wondering if any of you have done the Milan-San Remo sportive (the full one, not the one Gazzetta dello Sport ran a few years ago)?
I am seriously considering, but at 295km its incredibly long. The longest Ive done in a "race" is 220km, so this will be a huge leap... Granted it is relatively flat, but it would be interesting to hear the experience of others
EDIT: Just saw this http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15133788
also read the excellent report of Bronzie: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/bronzie/msr.htm
:-)
What I'd like to know if how many miles people have in their legs before attempting this

I know some guys I know took part at them with their longest training rides being around 150-180kms.
What impressed them the most was the high speed (around 45-50km/h on most flat sections).0
