Looking for a basic computer, either wired or wireless
just want something that gives you the time,speed,distance and total distance anything else is a bonus

I bought a Cateye Strada Wireless.

I used to have a Cateye Strada wireless before I went all hi-tech.

If your bike has Shimano Flightdeck compatible gear levers (most Shimano road bike levers are) I'd strongly recommend a Shimano Flightdeck.
In addition to the normal stuff it'll show you which gears you've selected front and back and give your pedaling cadence. Knowing and working on your cadence is the best way to becoming a better, more efficient road cyclist.
