Just found out about the York Cycle Show and thinking about going, has anyone been and is it a good day out and are there bargains to be had?

Been a few times.

It used to be called York Rally, and was more for roadies and track cyclists. Then in 2000 it went MTB as well, with a massive show put on with loads of manufacturers and riders there.

Then the beardies all complained, and it went back to what it was.

Ahhh so it's more beards and brookes saddles and shaved legs then I take it?

I just had a quick google since it's not too far and bike radar is a country length away. The activities aren't selling it though....'city sightseeing bus' :?

It's only £2.50 to get in, it might be worth the trip to t'other side O t'ills
