Recommended by a friend to come on here, just for some good tips for a road bike beginner.
Just been out and bought a GIANT Defy 3.5, from my local dealer in Burnley, Lancashire.
After riding mountain bikes years ago I fancied a change and got recommended the bike as a great entry level purchase.
Anybody know any local good routes or clubs that I could possibly join in the future??
Thanks
Lee

Sorry Carley haha.
I love the bike mothyman, had my 1st ride on it yesterday and love it to bits.
Its had some great reviews, and I can see why its a great entry level bike.
Spent about £700 all in with new helmet, shoes etc etc so need to pull my finger out now and clock the miles up.
There is a nice 12 mile route near me which is relatively flat that I am going to try and do in a month or so on it0 -
you'll manage 12 miles in next to no time I can't wait to get my DefyLevel 3 Road & Time Trial Coach, Level 2 Track Coach.
