I have just completed my second club 10 shaving 4 minutes of my time. I have definatly got the bug now and want to get some clip on TT bars.
I'm looking for something under £100 if possible as im only going to be doing the club races so its really just to give me a fighting chance against my mates.
I have seen these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=36154 which seem to be ok but what is everyone using?
Also how do i know what size i need? Do i need to measure my arms?
Thanks

I have a pair of these....http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bontrager/race-x-lite-clip-on-aero-bars-ec021196?query=bontrager%20clip%20on which are quite comfy and you can change the length on them which is handy for altering your position...these are the slightly cheaper non-carbon bontrager ones http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bontrager/race-lite-aero-clip-on-aerobar-ec019384?query=bontrager%20clip%20on which you can also alter the length.
I would recommend getting an adjustable set otherwise you may have to end up altering your stem and handlebar setup in order to get a comfy position...hope that helps0 -
constantly reavalueating the situation and altering the perceived parameters accordingly0

For a relative beginner up to serious use so long as weight isn't a huge priority (and rarely is for TTing) then Profile T2s take some beating. £90 ish from most places, masses of adjustment and strong as an ox on strong pills. The key thing is the pads are very close to the bar brackets, so you can get nice and low. A lot of the cheaper ones have pads that sit 20-30mm above the bars, so when you get faster and used to being in the aero position there is no adjustment left unless you get an adjustable stem.
